Elisha Friesema

I spent a decade managing quality improvement efforts, public health and health services research in Academic Medical Centers and Federally Qualified Health Centers in Chicago.  This led me to have a deep understanding of clinical trial design and execution as well as how to create patient and provider educational materials, design clinical decision support, and utilize behavioral economic techniques to influence behavior change.

I noticed too often that our innovations ended with our grant funding and the papers we wrote.  Communicating a strong business case for these innovations proves vital to broader adoption.

During my MBA at the University of Minnesota, I continuously participated in experiential learning through the Carlson Consulting Enterprise, Graduate Volunteer Consultants, and the Medical Industry Leadership Institute to do just that.  It provided me the opportunity to valuate several early state innovations for VC, provide go-to-market strategies for international medical device companies, and create strategic marketing plans for local non-profits.

Now I guide clients in bringing their medical devices, pharmaceuticals, and biotech products to market successfully. Leveraging real-world data and clinical evidence, I provide valuable insights and recommendations to optimize commercialization pathways, clinical, and regulatory strategies. With a strong track record of delivering impactful results, I have collaborated with diverse organizations, including seed-stage companies, academic medical centers, and Fortune 500 companies.

In my spare time, I enjoy playing tennis, finding the best cold brew in town, and embracing my inner foodie. Bonus if it is on a dog-friendly patio so my boxer Dunkel can join!
